Important Things in Life...

Today I was going to publish a fun post but after reading my friend Michele's blog I couldn't bring myself to do it and after the loss of my friend's baby I felt like writing a more serious post.

There are events in our lives that can take only seconds to occur but can take a life time to get over. I can't imagine what it must be like to loose a child and I pray that I never do.

In my day to day life I forget how precious these 3 gifts from God truly are. Sometimes it takes a tragic event to remind me how important my family is and how unimportant the little things are. I find myself getting wrapped up in worrying about stupid things like not having enough money, or a big enough house but really those things don't matter. I would give them all up in a heart beat if it meant protecting my family.

These last few days I have been really trying to make a point to cherish these days with my family. Who know what tomorrow may bring.

I am stealing an idea from my cousin's blog (Welcome to Newmanville):

Happy things

Things that made me smile today:
-The babies fighting over a baby wipe
-L telling me he is "Poo Poo"
-C giving me some of his cookie
-D telling L "NO, NO sit down" as she pointed her finger at him.
-The babies giggling in their bed, even though they are suppose to be taking a nap.

I pray for you all and that your eyes are open to what truly is important in life.

Much Love,

Tanna

Tanna,

I know exactly how you feel. Even though it wasn't a "funny" post. It still made me smile.

Thank You..

Today is a very big day in the Where’s Wenda? Contest. I am visiting all of the SITS followers. Can I do it? There are around 1000 followers. Oh my! Better grab my cup of coffee and get on my way. Be sure to visit Hot Chocolate Caramel Mocha and Three Bay B Chicks as part of your contest entry.

How very true, Tanna. I try and remember each day is a blessing. Sometimes it's easy to let life get in the way. Thanks for the reminder.
