Randomness and Pictures of C's Surgery...

Let me start this post with a bit of randomness...

Jen over at Amazing Trips has taught me something I have wanted to learn FOREVER but I have never found anyone to teach me, until now. Jen has successfully taught me to knit. Nothing fancy yet(hint, hint Jen)but I am loving it!!! Here is a picture of my creation...

If you can't tell it is a scarf. My next project will be a baby blanket since one of my good friends will be having a baby next fall.

Here are some random pictures of the babies over the last few days...

Here are some pictures of L and D playing with C's Bionic Cochlear implant monkey and C playing with Robie(sp?) from "Yo Gabba Gabba" (We love that show).

For those of you who have a weak stomach don't scroll down I have posted some pictures that the Dr. took of C's surgery...

Here is a picture of C's Cochlear before the Dr drilled into it...

Here is a pic after the Cochlear was drilled into...

Here is the wire being inserted into the Cochlear...

Here are a few pic's of the procedure being finished up...

Cool Right!!
And for the ones who are now grossed out, I warned ya!!

Much Love,

Tanna

I am in awe of your knitting ability-- I have had several friends attempt to teach me how to knit, and it has ended in disaster every time.

What cuties! I love how that monkey is almost as big as they are.

Cool photos! My first reaction to your pictures was disappointment that I couldn't blow them up bigger so I could see the eardrum in better detail. This is probably not normal. Oh well.

WAY TO GO!! That is so awesome!! Are you sure you didn't know how to knit before you tuned in to my tutorials?? Because your scarf looks really, really good!!

The ear pictures, wow. I actually once dreamed of becoming an Ear, Nose, Throat doctor, so to me the pictures are fascinating. I hope your little guy is healing up, well!!
